We are a boys youth organization that teaches moral values, sportsmanship, social skills, and family bonding through activities including campouts, rocket launches, Pinewood Derby and other fun activities. But what makes Cub Scouts truly unique is the opportunity it gives the entire family to be involved in each child’s development.
Pack 100 consists of boys from ages five through eleven organized into Dens by ages. Our Pack has dedicated leaders and volunteers who are tasked with teaching Cub Scouts both fun and valuable lessons that will help them progress in the program and in life. Our Pack is always looking for parent volunteers to become engaged and assume leadership roles to achieve the mission of teaching our boys valuable life lessons.
During the school year, the Pack meets once a month at St. Pius X Catholic School. Each Den holds one or more meetings during the month at school, pack member's homes and other locations. The Pack has been an active member of the Boy Scouts of America for over fifty (50) years and has received the BSA's Quality Unit Award for several years. Our Pack continues to be an active member of our community. Pack 100 welcomes students from all schools in the New Orleans metropolitan area.
